Travel rental platform Airbnb is now within easy reach of Samsung Internet users, as the company has partnered with Samsung to enable direct access to the platform on Galaxy devices.
A shortcut for Airbnb has been added to the quick access section of Samsung Internet, making it easier for users to visit the platform directly with just one tap.
The quick access section appears when you open a new tab in Samsung Internet. It lists a number of popular websites and platforms, such as Google, Amazon, Wikipedia, Facebook, and more.
Airbnb says that this integration will improve accessibility for users who are playing trips. One-tap access would put millions of listings worldwide on their fingertips directly from the browser page.
Samsung Internet lists Airbnb in the quick access section in 49 markets across the globe, including South Korea. The platform revealed that the shortcut has already generated tens of thousands of click per day across all of the markets where it has been made available.
While this integration makes sense, it wouldn't be of much use to people who use the Airbnb app on their phones, as it provides a considerably better user experience compared to the mobile web version of the platform. The vast majority of Airbnb users likely use the app itself anyway.
